General Information

All dogs need to have a current certificate of immunisation and this needs to include C3, C4 or C5 which covers kennel cough. For more information about Kennel Cough click here

Medications and Special diets must be clearly labelled and in sealed containers. We need to be made aware of any problem or history that may affect your pets stay. There is no surcharge for giving medications but charges do apply when changing dressings etc. Any vet. charges and transport to and from will be added to your bill.

Although we live on-site, our open hours are strictly adhered to. This minimises the disturbance to all the dogs. For clients passing through these times may be negotiated. For example K.I. travellers and other country towns.

We are open for inspections every day (except Xmas & Good Friday) between the above times. Feel free to bring your dog/s with you so they can have a look too.

We only require booking deposits for the Easter long weekend and dates surrounding Christmas and New years. If you need to cancel, please advise us as early as possible as we usually have a waiting list and someone else can book their dogs in.

All bookings are made over the phone. As we may be busy at the kennels please leave a message and we'll get back to you promptly.

Unless your pet is on a special diet, we feed them raw and/or cooked chicken mince and this is blended with soaked biscuits.  This ensures a healthy and balanced diet with calcium and cereals. Please note sometimes with a change in diet bowel movement may be softer for a day or so.

If your dog is used to being inside especially in the cold winter months, then we recommend you supply a dog jacket which we'll put on at dinner time on cold nights.

Your dog's stay at our place is just as important to us as your reason for them being here.
